Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Jackson, Michigan. The RT will work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, providing direct patient care across clinical areas and performing essential respiratory procedures.

Requirements include BLS, RRT, NBRC certification and at least 1 year of acute care experience; ACLS, PALS, and NRP may be required in some areas. Benefits include weekly pay and guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• BLS/ACLS/PALS; NRP may be required depending on area.
• RRT certification and NBRC credential are required.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities.
• Maintain patient records and documentation.
• Calibrate and maintain respiratory equipment; report malfunctions.
• Perform arterial puncture and sample analysis as per guidelines.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
• Respond to emergencies requiring respiratory support.
