TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Mount Clemens, MI. The role involves 36 hours per week with nights, 12-hour shifts, and travel employment type.

The RT will provide direct patient care, manage respiratory and cardiology modalities, and support multiple clinical areas. Requirements include 1 year acute care experience, BLS and ACLS; PALS/NRP may be required.

Qualifications

• 1 year recent acute care experience required.
• BLS, ACLS; PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.
• NBRC certification required.
• 2 years (experience) referenced in listing.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care across clinical areas per guidelines.
• Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities as directed.
• Maintain accurate patient records/documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory equipment; report malfunctions.
• Perform arterial puncture and sample analysis per procedures.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and staff to optimize patient care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring Respiratory support.
