Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week assignment at a 500-bed Tulsa hospital. Day shifts, 3x12 hour schedule, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, 36 hours per week, with weekend requirements.

Must have RRT, BLS, ACLS, CRT; CRT and NRP/PALS preferred and 1+ year ICU/ED experience. Responsibilities include airway management, ventilator management (BiPAP/CPAP and weaning), ABG interpretation, and care for ARDS, ECMO, and COVID patients.

Qualifications

• Active RRT certification and BLS/ACLS.
• Minimum 1 year of RRT experience in critical care.
• Experience with adult ICU and emergency department settings.
• Ability to manage airways and ventilators.
• Experience with ABG analysis and arterial lines.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy to critically ill adults in ICU/ED.
• Manage ventilators including BiPAP/CPAP and weaning.
• Assist in intubation and extubation; tracheostomy care.
• Perform ABG sampling and analysis.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic.
• Float to related units as needed.
