Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Mesa, Arizona. The role involves providing respiratory care in a hospital setting, with 12-hour day shifts (6:00 AM–6:30 PM), scheduled as 3x12s for 36 hours per week.

Requirements include an active RRT credential, current license, and recent acute-care experience. Candidates should be flexible to weekends/holidays and willing to float as needed; travel experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RRT credential required.
• Current respiratory therapy license/credentials required.
• Recent acute-care hospital respiratory therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients across inpatient hospital settings.
• Assess patients' respiratory status and develop appropriate respiratory care interventions.
• Perform respiratory treatments and therapies according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Manage and monitor oxygen therapy and other respiratory support modalities.
• Assist with airway management and respond to changes in respiratory status.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after respiratory treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory treatments, equipment, and disease management.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of respiratory assessments and interventions.
• Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and department policies.
• Respond to urgent and emergent respiratory situations.
• Float to other areas as needed according to department guidelines.
