HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Cumming, GA. Start 11/16/2026 for 13 weeks, with weekly pay ranging from $1,632 to $1,709 and guaranteed 36 hours per week. Work is hospital-based in a 12-hour night shift (2x3 schedule).

This out-of-area role requires travel and offers dedicated recruiter support. Responsibilities include ventilator management, patient assessment, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia Respiratory Therapist license (RRT) and NBRC-RRT certification.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent, relevant experience in respiratory care.
• Ability to work in a hospital setting; comfortable with 12-hour night shifts and a 2x3 schedule.
• Willingness to meet holiday coverage requirements.
• Two professional references required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to patients per physician orders, including assessment and ongoing monitoring.
• Manage ventilator support, airway clearance therapies, and inhaled medications as prescribed.
• Monitor respiratory status, oxygenation, and ventilation; adjust therapies as indicated and document responses.
• Assist with equipment setup, maintenance, calibration, and safety checks; adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other care team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Record and report patient data, therapy outcomes, and any changes in condition to the care team.
• Participate in routine holiday coverage as required by the assignment.
