American Traveler is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) for a hospital assignment on a rotating night shift schedule.

The role requires 2+ years of experience, BLS, and active RRT/CRT licensure with the ability to work 3x12 or 4x12 night shifts, 84 hours every two weeks, and travel. 75 miles away minimum; local candidates not accepted. Per diem and housing support provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Respiratory Therapist.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• RRT/CRT license required; CRT accepted.
• Active Compact or State License required at time of consideration.
• Driver's license required; address must match permanent address.
• Flu vaccine required; exemptions considered case-by-case.
• Two professional references: one Charge or higher and one Supervisor, within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit.
• Primarily adult patient population with potential pediatric patients.
• Night shift, rotating 3x12 and 4x12 hours (19:00-7:30).
• Rotating schedule totaling 84 hours per two-week pay period.
• Floating required within scope of practice.
• Every other weekend required.
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated.
• Must work either a major or minor holiday shift for every holiday.
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted.
• Traveler pairs accepted on a limited basis; pairs will not be scheduled on the same shift or unit.
• After working one year, travelers must take a minimum 6-month break before returning.

• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be considered; local candidates not accepted
• Traveler pairs accepted on a limited basis; pairs will not be scheduled on the same shift or unit
• After working one year, travelers must take a minimum 6-month break before being eligible to return
• Any license or background check issues must be disclosed upfront
