Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a rehabilitation hospital night shift in Michigan. The position requires 1+ years of experience and a valid Michigan state license to practice.

Responsibilities include critical respiratory care in the Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit, 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, and collaboration with the care team. ACLS/PALS and Epic EMR experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• BLS certification required.
• NBRC national certification required.
• Michigan state RRT license required in hand prior to start.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing respiratory care in a rehabilitation hospital setting in the Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit.
• Night shift on a 3x12 hour schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Perform bronchodilator care, ventilator care, pulmonary hygiene therapy, and airway management.
• Conduct tracheostomy changes, sleep disorder screening, and Bipap/Cpap therapy.
• Perform diagnostic procedures including EKGs, blood gas analysis, TCOM monitoring, and overnight pulse oximetry.
• Assist with discharge education and coordination for patients.
• Develop patient-centered care plans in collaboration with physicians and care team.
