Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Florence, South Carolina. The RT will cover 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts, providing critical respiratory care in a travel role.

Requirements include NBRC, BLS, ACLS, with NRP and PALS possibly required per site. 1 year of recent acute care experience is preferred. Stipends and travel benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• NBRC certification required; BLS/ACLS often required.
• 1 year of recent acute care Respiratory Therapy experience.
• PALS/NRP may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across clinical areas per guidelines.
• Administer respiratory and cardiology therapies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Calibrate and maintain respiratory equipment; report malfunctions.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples per procedure.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and staff to ensure continuum of care.
• Respond to emergent respiratory events.
