Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift position in Florence, South Carolina. The role requires 2+ years of critical care experience, RRT certification, and state licensure, with responsibilities across multiple units and locations.

Responsibilities include ventilator and airway management, medication delivery, and possible bronchoscopy assistance, with hurricane-season emergency response duties as needed. Travel experience is required.

Qualifications

• Active RRT certification is required; CRT not accepted.
• SC Respiratory Care Provider license in hand at start.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS in hand at start.
• Minimum 2 years of recent critical care experience.
• Epic EMR experience.
• Prior travel assignment experience.
• Ventilator management and airway management experience.
• NICU/pediatric critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care across adult critical care, ED, NICU, and pediatric settings.
• Perform airway management, ventilator management, and medication delivery per orders.
• Assist with bronchoscopy and high-risk delivery procedures as needed.
• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season.
