TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Columbia, South Carolina. The RT will provide direct patient care across clinical areas, perform respiratory and cardiology procedures, document care, and ensure safe equipment operation. 12-hour night shifts at 36 hours per week are expected.

Requires NBRC/RRT and BLS/ACLS; PALS may be needed in some locations. This travel position emphasizes collaboration with the care team and readiness to respond to

Qualificações

• 1 year of recent acute care experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required; PALS may be required in some areas.
• NBRC credential and RRT certification expected.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care in various clinical areas per guidelines.
• Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
• Maintain patient records and documentation.
• Inspect and calibrate respiratory equipment; report malfunctions.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples per procedures.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and other staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
