Job summary
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) for a night shift position in Kentucky. Requires 1+ year of experience and current Kentucky licensure. Certifications in CPR, ACLS, and PALS are required.
No weekend or on-call requirements at this time; local candidates within 75 miles are preferred. Cerner EMR is used. Travel pairs allowed and generous housing and licensure support provided.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Current Kentucky license or compact license required.
- CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Pending licenses not accepted.
- References required, pending references accepted at time of consideration.
Responsibilities
- Night shift, 3x12 hours (18:45-07:15).
- Staffing ratio of 1 therapist per night shift.
- No weekend requirement; coverage for call-outs may be needed.
- No on-call requirements.
- Uses Cerner charting system.
- Open to accommodating block schedules.
- First‑time travelers accepted with prior RT experience.
- Local candidates accepted within a 75‑mile radius.
- Travel pairs allowed.
- Return staff reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis.
