Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a long-term night shift assignment caring for patients from newborns to geriatrics in a hospital setting. You will deliver respiratory care across the lifespan, including critical care and general services, on a 3x12s schedule totaling 36 hours per week, with no on-call requirements.

Location is North Carolina, Rocky Mount area. Must meet NC licensure requirements, hold or be eligible for RRT, and maintain current BLS and ACLS

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAHEA approved respiratory care program.
• Current license to practice respiratory care as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in North Carolina (license required if applicable).
• RRT certification or eligible to sit for exam.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Two professional references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Pulmonary unit setting at a hospital.
• Provides respiratory care to patients across the lifespan, from newborns through geriatrics.
• Includes critical care and general patient care assignments.
• Night shift schedule, 3x12s, 36 hours per week.
• No on-call requirements.
• Responsible for practicing respiratory care within the scope of the North Carolina Respiratory Care Practice Act.
• Duties are predominantly predictable in nature.
