Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night-shift position in a 368-bed hospital in Austin, TX. Requires at least one year of adult respiratory care experience and RRT/CRT certification, with ACLS and NRP preferred for neonates.

The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, nights, on a travel basis. Emphasis on teamwork, safety, and accurate Meditech documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• RRT or CRT certification required.
• Texas RCP license required if applicable.
• Minimum 1 year of adult respiratory care experience within the last 6 months.
• ACLS certification required.
• NRP certification required if caring for neonates.
• NICU experience preferred.
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration.
• One professional reference required.
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide adult respiratory care to patients during night shifts.
• Work in a 368-bed hospital respiratory therapy department.
• Collaborate with a team of 6 RTs and a supervisor.
• Utilize Servo, Hamilton and Airvo equipment.
• Document care in Meditech EMR.
• Night shift, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM; 36 hrs/week.
• No on-call requirements.
