Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare seeks a Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Ukiah, CA. Start date 10/12/2026 for 13 weeks. You will provide therapeutic respiratory care to adults and geriatrics in a short-term acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities include ventilated patient care, ABG draws, and EMR documentation. The role requires NBRC credentials, CA license, and BLS/CPR; ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required. Shift is 3x12-hour nights with 36 hours/week.

Qualifications

• CA license and NBRC credentials required.
• 2+ years of recent respiratory care experience, including critical care.
• BLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic and advanced respiratory care for adult and geriatric patients.
• Manage care for ventilated patients and respond to changes under physician orders.
• Perform arterial blood gas draws and document in EMR.
• Administer aerosolized and oxygen therapies; adjust as directed.
• Support department operations and training of new staff as delegated.
• Maintain compliance and complete required paperwork and charges.
