ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania. The role involves night shifts, 12-hour shifts, and a total of 36 hours per week as a travel position.

The ideal candidate will hold an active Respiratory Therapy license and ACLS certification, with experience operating Hamilton C3 ventilators and the ability to work independently under supervision.

Qualifications

• Current ACLS certification is required.
• Experience with Hamilton C3 ventilators is necessary.
• Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Operate ventilatory equipment (invasive and non-invasive) and oxygen devices.
• Administer prescribed medications, humidification, ventilation, and oxygenation.
• Perform chest physiotherapy and suctioning with various techniques.
• Conduct oximetry and capnography monitoring per policy.
• Review chest x-rays to determine need for further evaluation.
• Perform 12-Lead EKG and basic arrhythmia recognition.
• Assist with bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, and tracheostomy care.
• Monitor, record, and report test results including arterial puncture and ventilation efficiency.
• Maintain therapy records and charge documentation.
