This community hospital seeks a skilled healthcare professional for 8, 10, or 13 week assignments based on facility needs.

Responsibilities include assisting healthcare professionals, monitoring patient status, and coordinating care across disciplines while supporting education for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Appropriate certifications as required for specific position.
• Degree from an accredited school.
• Demonstrate code of conduct and compliance policies.
• Ability to communicate clearly with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to care team.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers and discharges.
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and family and provide education appropriate to age and condition.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
