QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of one year of respiratory therapy experience within the last three years (specific roles may require more)
• Board certified / registered respiratory therapist
• State licensure for the state in which the job is located

Travel respiratory therapists work with patients with breathing difficulties or other cardiopulmonary conditions. A registered respiratory therapist with Nomad is expected to deliver age-specific direct patient care according to the unit scope of service, monitor patient conditions, assess needs, and provide individualized, non-judgmental, and non-discriminatory care to all patients, families, and staff.

To apply, you must have a respiratory therapy license for the state of the assignment, an active NBRC credential, and at least one year of experience as a respiratory therapist. Additionally, you should have recent experience in your specialty/modality, graduated from an accredited school, and scored 80% or higher on Nomad Health competency exams.
