Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Travel Respiratory Therapist for a Denver, CO assignment. The role is a travel position with 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, and a 13-week duration starting 10/12/2026.

You will provide direct patient care across clinical areas, evaluate and treat per protocols, and support the continuum of care with the care team. The RT must have 1 year of recent acute care experience and current ACLS and BLS; NBRC credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS required; PALS/NRP may be required in some areas.
• NBRC certification or credential required.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
• Maintain patient records and documentation.
• Calibrate and maintain respiratory equipment; report malfunctions.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples per guidelines.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and other staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
