Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a contract in Boston, Massachusetts. This role offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts, starting 10/26/2026 for 13 weeks.

The ideal candidate will hold NBRC credentials and CPR certification, with 18 months of respiratory care experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting. Travel assignments include housing support and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapist credential by the NBRC, and CPR certification required.
• Eighteen months of respiratory care experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Provide respiratory care to patients per physician orders and established policies and procedures.
• Participate in the development and/or implementation of patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain professional communication with management, staff, patients and families.
• Provide instruction to patients and caretakers in therapy methods and objectives.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
