Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality care to patients in a night shift environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and assessments to patients.
• Work effectively within an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress and treatment plans.
• Adhere to all safety and clinical protocols during patient care.

Schedule

• Contract length: 52 weeks
• Shift: Night shifts (3x12 hour shifts, from 19:00 to 07:00)
• Work every other weekend and every other holiday.
• Must work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays.
• Requests for time off around Christmas are not approved.

Qualifications

• Current RRT certification and BLS required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience preferred; candidates with 2+ years of experience will be considered.
• ACCS certification is preferred.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a Virginia license (pending licenses may be considered if a temporary license can be secured prior to start). Another state license is required to be eligible for a temporary license.
