Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Wenatchee, Washington. The position covers three 12-hour night shifts per week and requires a current WA license, NBRC credentials, and EPIC experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State License.
• Registered, registry eligible, or certified by the NBRC.
• Graduate of an approved school of respiratory care.
• Experience with EPIC systems.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.

Responsabilités

• Administer medications safely and in accordance with prescriptions.
• Follow protocols for Nebulizer, CPT, Flutter Valve, CPAP/BiPAP, and High Flow therapies.
• Set up and monitor oxygen delivery systems and cylinders.
• Perform artificial airway care and suctioning as needed.
• Use pulse oximeters and other devices to assess patient status.
• Oversee ventilator setup, safety checks, and troubleshooting.
• Record accurate clinical notes in patient charts.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The position involves working three 12-hour shifts per week, covering early morning and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State License

• Graduate of an approved school of respiratory care
• Experience with EPIC systems
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications

Job Functions

• Administer medically prescribed medications safely and effectively, ensuring knowledge of their indications and contraindications.
• Follow protocols and procedures for therapeutic modalities, including Nebulizer, CPT, Flutter Valve, CPAP/BiPAP, and High Flow treatments.
• Set up and monitor oxygen aerosol administration, ensuring that oxygen cylinders are maintained in proper carriers.
• Perform comprehensive artificial airway care, including deep blind tracheal suctioning on patients.
• Utilize measuring devices effectively, such as pulse oximeters, respirometers, manometers, cuff/pressure gauges, and oxygen blenders.
• Oversee the setup, safety check, monitoring, and troubleshooting of mechanical ventilators.
• Administer CPAP setup and management as required.
• Maintain accurate and legible records, documenting clinical notes in patient charts.
