Healthforce is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (Registered) for a travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility in Silver Spring, Maryland. Start date is 12/14/2026 for 13 weeks, with guaranteed 32 hours per week and a 5x8 day schedule (08:00–16:30).

Weekly pay ranges from $1,409 to $1,542. This travel role focuses on in-house respiratory care and requires collaboration with the care team to implement patient-specific plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in respiratory therapy in a skilled nursing facility.
• Willingness to complete the 13-week assignment.
• Ability to work a 5x8 day shift (08:00–16:30) with guaranteed hours.

Responsabilités

• Assess and monitor respiratory status of assigned patients; interpret findings and adjust care as prescribed.
• Administer prescribed respiratory therapies, including oxygen delivery, inhaled medications, and airway clearance techniques.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment; ensure proper device safety, sanitation, and documentation.
• Document treatments and patient responses in the chart; communicate changes with the nursing and medical team.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to develop and implement patient care plans; participate in care team rounds as needed.
