Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Beckley, West Virginia. The RT will provide direct patient care across clinical areas per procedural guidelines, and collaborate with the care team during night shifts.

Requirements include NBRC, ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and at least 1 year of acute care experience. 48 hours per week on 12-hour nights; 13 weeks; travel employment with potential stipends.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care experience required.
• BLS, ACLS required; NRP and PALS may be required in some areas.
• NBRC, ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS; additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities.
• Maintain patient records/documentation.
• Inspect, calibrate and maintain respiratory equipment; report malfunctions.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples per guidelines.
• Coordinate with nurses, physicians and other staff to optimize care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
