Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for contract assignments at partnering Long Term Acute Care Facilities in Macon, Georgia. The role is a travel contract with 13 weeks duration and 36 hours per week, including 12-hour night shifts.

Pay ranges weekly, with the possibility of extension. Ideal candidates are Registered Respiratory Care Practitioners with BLS/ACLS/PALS, acute care experience, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• 1–2 years minimum acute care experience.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• BLS from the American Heart Association is required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to handle a multi-task environment.
• Basic PC skills such as Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to individual patients and families by applying the clinical process in assessment, care planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of care.
• Respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
