Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Aurora, CO. You will provide advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary disorders while collaborating with physicians and a clinical team.

The role requires an RRT credential, a valid license, and BLS certification. ACLS/PALS are preferred. The position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits for traveling professionals.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC.
• Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans.
• Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Perform diagnostic tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples.
• Treat patients through methods including chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications.
• Set up and monitor equipment for correct oxygen delivery.
• Observe and record patient status and progress.
• Educate patients and/or family members on medications and equipment use.
• Perform other duties within the scope of RRT practice.
