Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Montrose, Colorado. The role involves direct patient care, evaluations and treatments under procedural guidelines, and collaboration with the hospital team.

Required: 1 year of acute care experience, BLS, ACLS, NBRC certification; PALS/NRP may be required in some areas. 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, travel employment with benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care experience is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• NBRC certification required.
• PALS/NRP may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to patients in various clinical areas.
• Perform evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.
• Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
• Maintain patient records/documentation.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment.
• Perform arterial puncture and sample analysis.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other staff to optimize care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
