Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Explain treatment purposes and procedures to patients.

• Perform chest physiotherapy and suctioning procedures.
• Monitor oximetry and capnography as per policy.
• Review chest x-rays and conduct pulmonary function studies.
• Assist in procedures like Bronchoscopy, Chest Tube placement, and Tracheostomy care.
• Conduct arterial punctures and assess ventilation efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding therapy efficiency and patient condition.
• Document all treatment and patient response accurately in the respiratory care records.
• Maintain and operate mechanical ventilation equipment, performing preventive maintenance as needed.

Job Description
