Job summary

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Knoxville, Tennessee. The role focuses on assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients with breathing disorders.

Requirements include a Respiratory Therapy degree, Tennessee license in good standing, and certs (BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP) with 3–5+ years of experience. Housing, travel, and licensing support are provided to travelers.

Qualifications

• State license in good standing with the State Licensure Board
• Active Respiratory Therapist credentials (RRT preferred)
• 1 year experience as an RRT
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• PICU/ER experience and general respiratory care experience
• 3-5+ years of experience as an RRT

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment for patients with breathing disorders
• Respond to patient needs during the shift and document care
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and record in Cerner EMR

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• NRP certification
• PICU/ER experience
• General respiratory care experience
• 3-5+ years experience

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1800-0600
• No call.
• No floating.
• Holidays required.
• EMR: Cerner.
