TotalMed RN in Clive, IA is seeking an experienced travel nurse (RN) in Rehabilitation for a 13-week assignment at our Rehabilitation Hospital. The role covers direct patient care, care planning, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery goals.

You will work 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week, with BLS and active state licensure required. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in rehab, strong assessment and documentation skills, and a compassionate approach to helping

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• At least 1 year of RN experience in rehabilitation.
• Eligible for state licensure.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct care to rehabilitation patients (neuro, ortho, brain injury).
• Develop and implement personalized care plans with rehab team.
• Assess vital signs, neurological function, and progress in therapy.
• Administer medications and assist with pain management.
• Educate patients and families about recovery goals and safety.
• Document assessments, treatments, and progress in the EHR.
• Assist with discharge planning and post-discharge needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers.
