American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a travel assignment in Springfield, Missouri. The role offers 3x12-hour days, totaling 36 hours per week, with a 13-week duration and two openings.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience, including neonatal and pediatric ICU, plus RRT license, BLS, NRP and PALS. The setting is a Level 1 Trauma & Burn Center, using EPIC EMR, with weekend, call, and float requirements as needed.

• Prior Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited college program in Respiratory Care.

• Flu vaccination or Mercy-approved exemption required Nov 1-Apr 1.

• Assess patient and family needs including physical, psychosocial, and spiritual aspects.
• Implement respiratory care interventions and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
• Participate in physician rounds and communicate patient status changes to the care team.
• Function as a preceptor or resource person as needed.
• Maintain and manage respiratory equipment including stocking supplies and O2 tank replacement.
• Demonstrate adaptability and a teamwork-oriented approach.
