Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) This position is located in the pediatric intensive care unit of the healthcare provider. It involves delivering specialized respiratory therapy and clinical care to pediatric patients, utilizing electronic charting systems and advanced ventilator equipment.

Job Details

• Position Description: Provide general floor therapy including nebulizer therapy, EzPAP, IPV, CPAP, BiPAP, Acapella, CPT, Vest therapy, ABGs, and oxygen delivery devices. Experience with ventilator extubation protocols and ABGs is required.
• Required Qualifications: Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Active AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), State license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); High School Diploma required; minimum of 2 years of floor experience or 1+ year of ICU experience; Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience recommended.
• Schedule: Evenings, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The role involves floating to other units/departments as needed and requiring familiarity with electronic charting (EPIC system), medication systems (Omnicell, Pyxis), and ventilator equipment (V60 Bipap, Focus, Synchrony CPAP/BiPAP).
