Job Summary

Respiratory Therapist, Respiratory Therapist Registered. The position provides respiratory care for pediatric patients in a high-acuity clinical setting on a 12-hour night schedule. The assignment includes weekend and holiday coverage requirements.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Cardiopulmonary; Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential; prior travel assignment experience; at least 3 years of respiratory therapy experience; at least 2 years of pediatric intensive care or Level III or IV neonatal intensive care experience in a pediatric setting; at least 2 years of pediatric emergency care experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: At least 4 years of pediatric intensive care experience; at least 4 years of neonatal intensive care experience; at least 2 years of pediatric Level I trauma experience.
• Additional Information: Weekend coverage includes 13 weekend shifts over the assignment period. Observed holidays falling within the contract period must be worked, with availability required for 2 of 4 holidays. No more than 4 Requested Time Off dates may be submitted during the contract, and Requested Time Off is not approved during the first 2 weeks of the assignment. Medical and religious exemption requests from the seasonal influenza vaccination are permitted.
