Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Tallahassee, Florida. The contract runs for 13 weeks with a 36-hour week and 12-hour night shifts.

Start date is 10/12/2026, and duties include evaluating and treating patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders under physician orders. Requirements include NBRC credential and CPR certification, with 18 months of respiratory care experience preferred, ideally in critical care.

Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapist credential by the NBRC, and CPR certification required.
• Eighteen months of respiratory care experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Provide respiratory care to patients per physician orders and established policies and procedures.
• Participate in the development and/or implementation of patient care plans.
• Assure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain professional relations and communicate with staff, patients, and families.
• Provide instruction to patients and caretakers on therapy methods and objectives.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
