Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 2 years of experience for an evening/night shift position at an academic Level 1 Trauma center.

Details

• Evening and night shift hours, with shift options including 1900–0730, 2300–0730, and 1500–2330
• 4x12-hour shift schedule
• Every other weekend rotation required
• One on‑call shift required every 6‑week scheduling period
• Holiday coverage required
• 13‑week contract with the option to extend to 26 weeks

Requirements

• WI Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required; pending license at time of consideration is accepted
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• BLS required — American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Graduation from a COARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a staff respiratory therapist
• Experience in an academic Level 1 Trauma center or similarly sized hospital required
• Pediatric and adult experience preferred

Additional Information

• Position is based in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit at an academic Level 1 Trauma center
