Job Title: RRT (NICU/PICU)

Required Education:

• Associate’s degree or Diploma in Respiratory Care.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC.
• BLS required (American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross).
• ACLS (American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross).
• NRP or NALS certification (American Heart Association).
• PALS certification completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.

Skills Required:

• Two (2) years of combined current experience required in NICU and PICU.
• Six (6) – twelve (12) months of adult critical care, progress care, medical surgical care, and general pediatrics experience.
• Must have initiated and managed high frequency oscillation and jet ventilation within two (2) years current experience.
• Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Epic EMR experience preferred; can train on site.
