Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Groton, Massachusetts. The role requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist with at least 2 years of experience and current CPR/BCLS certification.

The schedule features 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, and a travel contract with benefits. Responsibilities include patient evaluation, delivering respiratory care for critically ill patients, endotracheal management, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or equivalent.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification; BCLS/ACLS/PALS/NALS/NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient and recommend a treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes when required.

Requirements

• Proven experience as Repertory Therapist
• Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
• Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families
