Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Shreveport, Louisiana. This travel role offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour day and night shifts, starting 11/16/2026.

You will work across multiple campuses, with NBRC certification requirements, LA state licensure, and BLS/NRP required (ACLS/PALS preferred). Experience with high-risk deliveries and NICU/PICU support is essential.

Formación

• BLS and NRP certifications required.
• NBRC national accreditation required; RRT highly preferred but CRT accepted.
• LA state licensure is required and driver’s license is needed for travel to campuses.

Responsabilidades

• Provide respiratory therapy services for high-risk deliveries and NICU/PICU patients.
• Perform airway and ventilator management and ABG procedures.
• Participate in rapid response and code blue events as needed.

• Charting System:
  • Meditech Expanse
• Required Certifications:
  • BLS – required
  • NRP – required
  • ACLS – preferred
  • PALS – preferred
  • National Accreditation through NBRC required
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist – highly preferred but not a deal breaker, CRT is accepted
  • LA State Licensure required
  • Valid driver’s license – will be floating to (4) different campuses during contract
• Skills required:
  • Must be comfortable with attending high risk deliveries, as well as supporting Level 3 NICU/PICU
  • High risk delivery experience – intubation of Neonate, if necessary
  • Airway and ventilator management, ABG puncture and analysis, Non-invasive ventilation, Code Blue and rapid response experience, inhaled medication administration to include nitric oxide.
