Job summary

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts, no on-call, and 75% holiday travel.

The successful candidate will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory care, with minimum requirements including an RRT/CRT, BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, and two years of pediatric RT experience.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board.
• 1 year experience as an RRT.
• BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP certifications.
• NC licensure and RRT/CRT credentials.
• 2 years pediatric RT experience in past 5 years.
• IPPV/NIPPV ventilator experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment for patients with breathing disorders.
• Provide respiratory care per physician orders and protocols.
• Collaborate with care team to optimize patient outcomes.

We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• NC licensure
• RRT or CRT
• PALS certification
• ACLS certification
• NRP certification
• 2 years of Respiratory Therapy combined pediatric unit experience in the past 5 years
• IPPV/NIPPV ventilator experience

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900-0700
• 36 hours per week
• Weekend rotation: every other
• No call
• Travelers will work 75% of holidays
• This role will not float to another facility
