Requirements include an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy, ARRT-T and AART certifications, a valid state license if required, 2 years of experience, and CPR/BLS. ARIA experience and Varian Truebeam knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.
• Certification: ARRT-T in Radiation Therapy.
• Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a radiation therapist.
• BLS certification.
• ARRT-T credential and proficiency with ARIA and Varian Truebeam systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment.
• Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment.
• Verify treatment plans and dosage with oncology team.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy.
• Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records.

What You'll Need:

• Associate or Bachelor\'s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program
• AART Certification in Radiation Therapy
• Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required
• 2 years\' experience as a radiation therapist
• BLS
• Radiotherapy Technologist (ARRT-T)
• Experience with ARIA
• Proficiency with Varian Truebeam Linear Accelerators

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
• Shift Days: Monday through Friday.
• Weekend rotation is possible but unlikely.
• Weekend call is rotated among the team based on staffing numbers.
• May be required to float to other Radiation Therapy sites in the greater Charlotte area.
