Job summary

Jackson HealthPros seeks a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in St. Louis, MO. You will provide bedside care for patients with breathing disorders, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of treatments. The position requires 36 hours weekly with 12-hour shifts and weekend rotation.

Responsibilities include collaboration with ED, ICU staff, and pediatric care when needed. Competitive benefits and housing support are offered to travelers.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board.
• One year experience as an RRT; RRT certification required.
• NICU and/or PICU experience required; ED, level 1 trauma facility, pediatric critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.
• Collaborate with ED/ICU teams and pediatric care when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and outcomes.

We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• 2 years of experience required
• RRT certification required
• NICU and/or PICU experience required
• Experience in ED, level 1 trauma facility, pediatric critical care, and pediatrics required

Assignment Details

• 3x12-hour shifts.
• Hours: 19:00 - 07:30.
• Weekend requirement: Every other.
• On-call not required.
