Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) located in an acute care setting. This role involves providing adult, pediatric, and neonatal therapy with a focus on adult ventilator management, EKG's, aerosol treatments, and Bipap/vent management. The position requires the ability to work independently, hit the ground running, and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, primarily during night shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to approximately 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid respiratory therapist license, certified respiratory therapist (CRT) or registered respiratory therapist (RRT) via the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), neonatal resuscitation program (NRP), basic life support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA), and a minimum of 2 years of experience with travel experience preferred or 4 years of experience without travel.
• Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in ICU and emergency room settings, expertise in adult intubation assistance, and ability to float across hospital departments, including ICU and ER.
• Additional Information: There is a department-specific orientation of two shifts. Clinicians must clock in and out at the facility. The role covers adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients across inpatient, progressive care unit (PCU), intensive care unit (ICU), emergency room (ER), labor and delivery (L&D), and nursery. The department has a supervisor on every shift who also assigns patient duties.
