We’re looking for a Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist (Peds‑RRT) for an immediate travel position opening in Seaside, OR. The right Peds‑RRT must have 1 year of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities.
• Maintain appropriate patient records/documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories. Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function. Report malfunctions to director.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze sample according to procedure guidelines.
• Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for patients being treated.
• Respond to emergent situations that could require respiratory support.

Peds‑RRTs should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. They should be able to lift 20 lbs. Moving or lifting of patients may require lifting of up to 50 lbs at times. Peds‑RRTs must have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
