Job Overview

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The role requires a Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist (Peds‑RRT) with at least one year of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.
• Administer a variety of respiratory and cardiology modalities.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment; evaluate equipment for safe function and report malfunctions.
• Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples per procedure guidelines.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize patient care.
• Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent acute care experience as a Peds‑RRT.
• Valid NBRC‑RRT certification.
• Board certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP, ACLS (additional certifications may be required).
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 20–50 pounds.
• Strong vision abilities (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment).
