Responsibilities

• Utilize GE R860, Draeger, Newport HT70, V60, Vapotherm, and Comfort Flow devices; use Cerner EMR
• Float to all critical care units and floors; cover nights and weekends
• Operate in a Level II trauma center with NICU and pediatric subspecialties

Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a critical care role at a trauma center hospital, requiring 5+ years of experience and NC licensure.

Details

• Work in the Respiratory Services department within a large hospital system with a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and Level III NICU
• Serves adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations including a children's hospital with pediatric subspecialties
• Patient ratios range from 10 to 25
• Uses GE R860 adult ventilators, Draeger infant/pediatric ventilators, Newport HT70 transport ventilators, V60 non-invasive devices, Vapotherm, and Comfort Flow high-flow oxygen devices
• Cerner EMR used
• Night shift hours from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Varying weekend requirements with at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Floating required to all critical care units and floors
• 13-week assignment
