• Must hold NH/Compact License and have at least 2 years of telemetry experience.
• Experience with chest tubes, drips, and complex wound care is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in the telemetry unit, monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
• Float between MedSurg units as needed; assist in emergency situations.

Shift: Rotating D/N, 12x3, 36 hours per week

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

• NH/Compact License
• Minimum of 2 years of recent equivalent experience
• Telemetry, Chest tubes, Tubes, Drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone, Lines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patients, Trachs/Laryngectomies, Complex wounds, Central Lines – care and maintenance and blood draws

• BLS
• Previous Float experience highly preferred
  
  

Other Details

• Float: will float between all MedSurg units as needed. Travelers will be working ED and PACU borders. In addition, Deceased Patient Coordinator (DPC) coverage may be required.
