Qualifications

• MO or Compact RN license required; BLS and ACLS required.
• 1+ year Telemetry RN experience.
• BSN preferred; new graduates not accepted.
• Able to work in a hospital telemetry unit; 12-hour day shifts.
• EMR training provided; proficiency with Allscripts Sunrise not required.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care to telemetry patients using RN standards of practice and clinical judgment.
• Monitor telemetry data, interpret rhythm strips, respond to alarms, and elevate clinical concerns as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; document accurately in the EMR.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans; coordinate with unit staff and physicians.
• Maintain patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance; educate patients and families about telemetry monitoring and care.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the specified electronic medical record system.
