Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for the 10K Stepdown Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). This 14-week temporary assignment offers a $75.00/hour pay rate and a day shift schedule. No benefits.

The unit cares for cardiac, renal, sepsis, and vascular patients. RN license (VA or compact) and 2+ years acute care experience are required; BLS/ACLS are required, NIH Stroke Scale preferred. An associates or higher nursing degree is required.

Department/Unit Overview: Join the nursing team that is enjoying a beautiful, brand new 24 bed Medicine unit with new computers in every room and charting stations in hallways with windows to visualize patients! Blood pressure machines that talk with EPIC as RealTime Documentation. Patient population is cardiac, cardiac prep, renal failure, vascular, sepsis, pneumonia, sickle cell, OR-Prep, and diverse wound care. Take a virtual tour of where you could work

Education

• Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required

Certification/Licensure

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
