Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide care in IMCU/Stepdown for neuroscience patients.
• Travel RN responsibilities include patient monitoring and post-surgical care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes.

Department/Unit Overview

This Unit provides care to the following types of neuroscience patients:

• Back and Neck surgical patients
• Epilepsy patients
• All neurosurgeries ( brain, pituitary, etc.)
• Stroke patients ( surgical and non-surgical)

Education Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required Certification/Licensure Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing Basic Life Support (BLS) ACLS NIH Stroke Scale Experience Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital RN experience.
