Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the IMCU/Stepdown Neuroscience Unit on a 14-week, night shift assignment. The role requires two+ years of acute care RN experience and a Virginia or Compact multi-state license.

BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification are preferred. The traveler will deliver nursing care to neuroscience patients, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and support high standards of patient safety and outcomes

Qualifications

• Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required.
• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• ACLS

Responsibilities

• Provide care to neuroscience IMCU/Stepdown patients (neurosurgery, stroke, etc.).
• Night shift travel assignment; 14-week duration.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
