Job summary

Trinity Health FirstChoice seeks experienced RNs for its mobile staffing solution. FirstChoice RNs fill short- and long-term assignments across the health system with nationwide and regional opportunities.

Part-time positions offer premium pay and flexible scheduling. DailyPay and license/certifications reimbursement are available per assignment, with travel and per diem options across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Active RN license in the applicable state(s) of practice.
• Minimum 18 months recent clinical experience in Med Surg, Telemetry or PCU.
• Minimum 2 years in all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal, ED and Behavioral Health.
• Credentials per specialty (ACLS, TNCC, etc); BLS/ACLS/PALS obtained through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout hospital or multiple locations/regions as needed.
• Demonstrate professional practice: Assess, Identify outcomes, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
• Act independently within license and scope of knowledge.
• Maintain accountability for delegation and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support quality improvement.
• Adapt to new ideas and manage competing priorities.

Education

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

RN licensure in applicable state(s)

18+ months of recent clinical experience (Med Surg/Tele/PCU)

2+ years across other specialties (CC, Surgical, Maternal, ED, Behavioral Health)

Specialty credentials (ACLS, TNCC, etc) + BLS/ACLS/PALS via American Heart Association

What you will do:

• Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations and/or regions

• Acts independently & appropriately within license, scope of knowledge & experience in practice area

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
• Required to have and maintain the credentials required per their specialty area (ex: ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association
